Increase FPS And Get Best Performance Out Of Your Nvidia Graphics Card/Processor

Your video options can play a very big role in how your PC performs in a game. It's OK if you have the High end Graphics Processor, you can max out any game/software. But what will happen if you have a Low end card. At that time all you want is to squeeze out all the potential of your PC for getting best results. So here I am to tell you about some settings that can help you improve your in game FPS. In this post I have given weightage to Performance rather than Quality, which I think matters a most for persons with Low end devices. So here we go...

Move 1:
Right Click on Desktop and Choose *NVIDIA Control Panel.

Move 2:
Here under the 3D Settings tab Click on 'Adjust image settings with preview'.
Then Select 'Use the advanced 3D image settings'
Then Click on Take me there

Move 3:
Make sure to Select 'Global Settings' at the top. Now we will set some features OFF to improve performance.

#Ambient Occlusion-------------Off (Help to see things through smoke)

#Anisotropic-filtering---------Off (Adds crispiness but costs performance)

#Antialiasing-FXAA-------------Off

#Antialiasing-Mode-------------Off

#Maximum pre-rendered frames------------'Use the 3D application setting'

#Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration---'Multiple display performance mode'

#Power management mode------------------'Prefer maximum performance'

#Shader Cache---------------------------------------------On

#Texture-Filtering-Anisotropic sample optimizaton--Off

#Texture-Filtering-Negative LOD---------------------'Allow'

#Texture-Filtering-Quality--------------------------'High Performance'

#Texture-Filtering-Trilinear optimization---------On

#Threaded optimization-----------------------------'Auto'

#Triple buffering--------------------------------------Off

Then Click on Apply.

Note: *If you are unable to reach the NVIDIA Control Panel then you have to enable it by going to Start then Search for 'Services'. In 'Services' find Nvidia Display Driver and start the service. Then you are ready for Move1.
