Users of the Technical Preview version of the upcoming Windows 10 Operating System will not have to clean their hard drive to update to the Final release, according to Gabriel Aul, the head of Microsoft's Insiders Program. In earlier versions of Windows before Windows 10 users have to remove the premature version to use the final version.
Aul stated via twitter that it was Microsoft's "intent" to ensure that users can "upgrade every build all the way to the final release without having to clean install."
Next build of Windows 10 Technical Preview will be launched at a Windows 10 event on January 21.
